Sennheiser’s Ears Cover Live Earth | 07.10.2007 Sennheiser UK
At Giants Stadium in New Jersey concert sound was provided by Firehouse Productions where Kristy Jo Winkler, Sennheiser relations manager for the Americas and Canada, was working with The Police, Dave Matthews Band, Smashing Pumpkins and Akon. Firehouse Productions’ Vinny Siniscal, RF coordinator for this location, assembled a Sennheiser G2 wireless IEM system with 32 bodypacks, and an A 5000 CP antenna. Siniscal managed approximately 150 channels of RF and reports, "One-third of that was Sennheiser microphones or G2 ears. Every single artist used at least two mixes of Sennheiser ears. It really is the only professional personal monitor system on the market with an agile tuning ability. On top of that, it sounds really nice." More>>

Peter Gabriel's Growing Up Tour | Jan 1, 2003 12:00 PM, By Mark Frink
Peter Gabriel's first tour in nearly a decade, which stopped at two dozen North American cities in late 2002, featured an in-the-round arena stage conceived by Robert Le Page, who also designed Gabriel's 1993 Secret World tour. The sound system, a collaboration between Firehouse Productions and AudioTek, was also no ordinary speaker package. Mix caught the show in Boston. More>>

Firehouse Productions 6500 | Jun 1, 2001 12:00 PM, BY MARK FRINK
Known for its custom stage monitors, Bryan Olson's New York sound hire company, Firehouse Productions, quietly introduced their Firehouse 6500 two-way in-ear monitors (IEMs) last year. Like most two-way IEMs, the 6500s use two different-sized, Knowles-balanced armature drivers with a passive crossover network to deliver highs and lows. As I already had favorite models for different applications, it was with some hesitation that I used a pair on tour. More>>
